SLA Management Job
An SLA Management job maps out the critical path of a job workflow that needs to meet an SLA.
The following table describes the SLA Management job type attributes.

Service Name |
Defines a logical name for the serviceA set of workflows that serves a business purpose, and can be monitored as a single unit. Rules:

Service |
Determines the time that the critical service must have completed by to be considered on time. The time can be specified either by a specific hour and/or day, or on a specific hour and minute after the run time. Options are as follows:

Service Priority |
Determines the priority level of this service from a user or business perspective. Priority: 1-5 (5 being the lowest) Variable Name: %%SERVICE_PRIORITY |
Service Actions |
Determines the automatic actions, such as rerunning a job, displaying the critical service in SLA Management, or if there is a job failure on the service path, or the service finished late or too quickly. Each service action is comprised of the following:

Job Run-Time Tolerance |
Determines whether the run time of the service is considered on time relative to standard deviations or the average run time. If the run time falls within the tolerance set, it is considered on time. Otherwise, it has run too long or ended too early. Options are as follows:

Run as |
Defines the user name with the authorization to execute the job. This parameter is used by the Control-M security mechanism. Rules:

Scheduling Environment |
(z/OS only) Defines the JES2 workload management scheduling environment that is associated with the job. |
System Affinity |
(z/OS only) Defines the identity of the system where the job must be initiated and executed (in JES2). |
Request NJE Node |
(z/OS only) Defines the node in the JES network where the job executes. |
Prevent NCT2 |
(z/OS only) Performs data set cleanup before the original job run. |
Control-D Category |
(z/OS only) Defines the name of the Control-D Report Decollating Mission Category. If specified, the report decollating mission is scheduled whenever the job is scheduled under Control-M. |
Doc Library |
(z/OS only) Defines the name of the library where the Documentation (description) is saved. |
Doc Member |
(z/OS only) Defines the name of the member where the job Documentation (description) is saved. |
Emergency Job |
(z/OS only) Defines whether the z/OS job is an Emergency job. |
